Course Description

This comprehensive one-day CME-CE hands-on training and certification workshop explores the fundamental cosmetic applications employed by expert injectors of FDA-approved neurotoxins (Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, & Daxxify®).

During the morning didactic, a historical perspective on the use of botulinum toxin A, as well as a brief analysis of Botulinum Toxin B, will be presented. The significant focus and interactive review of relevant facial anatomy and physiology (the cornerstone of safe and effective treatment) presented will help you determine the best treatment plan for your patients.

This CME/CE course offers the fundamental instruction of mapping and injection techniques for the most frequently requested upper face areas (glabella frown lines, crow’s feet, horizontal forehead lines, bunny lines, brow lift). Off-label use and other pertinent information will be presented to include the mechanism of action, safety and efficacy issues, management and treatment of complications, dilution guidelines, and more. The presentation will cover a brief overview of hyperhidrosis treatment, dental applications, and other advanced treatment areas of the lower face.

Video and live demonstrations explaining procedures and techniques will bolster your knowledge and prepare you for the afternoon hands-on practice session.
