Course Description
This comprehensive one-day hands-on training and certification workshop explores the advanced cosmetic applications employed by expert injectors of FDA-approved injectable poly-L-lactic acid-PLLA (Sculptra).
This course offers:
- Techniques for the most frequently requested advanced areas of the body (butt, chest, knees, and décolletage)
- Pertinent information such as mechanism of action, safety and efficacy issues, management and treatment of complications, dilution guidelines, and more.
- Live demonstration of the procedure and techniques to bolster your knowledge to prepare for the hands-on session
- Hands-on session led by expert instructors. And, with ESI's low student-to-instructor ratio, it feels more like a tailored one-on-one experience

More information about Sculptra
Sculptra Aesthetic is FDA-approved in the U.S. and has been used worldwide since 1999. Sculptra Aesthetic contains a synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid, which is a biocompatible, biodegradable substance that is gradually and naturally absorbed by the body. Sculptra works by stimulating one’s own body to produce collagen in response to the PLLA6, its main component. It takes 2-3 months to appreciate the correction from Sculptra and the results should last years because newly formed collagen lasts 7 years in other areas of the body.
Creating a Brazilian Butt Lift with Sculptra is an extremely easy procedure to get done. There is no liposuction required, no healing/soreness from fat harvest, no need to sit on donuts. Most cases take between 2-4 treatments. Each injection is done using cannulas for minimal bruising and discomfort. Approximately 4 vials are used per treatment. Long lasting improvements in lifting and fullness should be expected from Sculptra which appears gradually over several months.

Who is this course for?
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of clinicians (physicians, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, licensed practical nurses, physician assistants, and dentists) involved in the care of patients seeking aesthetic enhancement procedures.
What are the course prerequisites for this course?
This course is designed for students whom are already doing Sculptra Aesthetic or whom are expert injectors.
What will each attendee receive upon completion of the course?
Each attendee will receive a course manual, PP slide deck, a dropbox link with supporting forms and templates of practice documents such as consents, standardized procedure and protocol policies, purchasing sources, procedure video, and more. A certification of hands-on training will be provided upon completion of the course (mailed within 2 weeks).
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation policy must be strictly enforced since workshops require much planning, preparation, and resources.
Refunds will be processed less a 250.00 processing fee if cancellation occurs at least 14 days before the workshop begins.
Cancellations made within 14 days of the start date are not eligible for a refund but may be credited toward a future workshop (valid for 12 months), and subject to approval by the administrative department of ESI. Rescheduling is allowed up to two times during the 12-month period.
Since a minimum number of registrants is necessary for each course, and if we do not meet this minimum, or for any other reason beyond our control the course is canceled or postponed, the registration fee will be refunded in full.
ESI is not responsible for deposits to hotels, non-refundable airline tickets or fees associated with necessary airline changes.
