Course Description

This comprehensive one-day, hands-on training and certification workshop delves into the fundamental cosmetic applications utilized by expert injectors of Kybella®, Mesotherapy, and Carboxytherapy.

A Low Student-to-Instructor Ratio Sets Us Apart!

With ESI’s low student-to-instructor ratio, our afternoon hands-on sessions led by our expert instructors will provide a tailored one-on-one experience. Q & A sessions you will gain valuable insight and pearls on the “how to” of this unique business model for optimal success.

  • Kybella®

Kybella® is the first FDA approved drug (in 2015) of its kind with an indication for submental fullness (double chin). Kybella® injections are used to contour and improve the appearance of the “double chin” by reducing moderate to severe fat on the upper neck.

We will discuss Kybella® safety, side effects, contraindications, patient selection, treatment protocols and mapping, pre and post treatment considerations. A live demonstration will be performed explaining procedure and techniques to bolster your knowledge and ultimately prepare you for the hands-on practice sessions.

  • Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy, a modality originally developed to treat pain in France (1952) expanded its reach worldwide into the aesthetics arena. It has been used to treat localized fat and cellulite reduction, skin tightening, skin rejuvenation, and more.

Mesotherapy is a staple procedure used around the world with impressive results. The didactic presentation will include a historical perspective on Mesotherapy, Lipotherapy, Lipodissolve, and Lipolysis. We will discuss the mechanism of action, contraindications, precautions, patient selection and education, including challenges the practitioner will encounter regarding fact from fiction treatment outcomes. Numerous aesthetic applications (i.e., cellulite reduction, body and facial sculpting of fat, face and neck rejuvenation (Mesolift / MesoGlow), and alopecia) will all be presented.

The lecture will include pharmacology as well as cocktails of FDA approved and Natural homeopathic substances. A live demonstration will be performed explaining procedure and techniques to bolster your knowledge and ultimately prepare you for the hands-on practice sessions.

  • Carboxytherapy

Carboxytherapy originally developed in France in the 1940’s to treat cardiac arteriopathies and wounds later expanded into plastic surgery and aesthetics. An extremely popular procedure in Europe, South America, Mexico, and Asia is a “standard” in plastic surgeons offices around the world. Studies have demonstrated that Carboxytherapy is extremely safe and is beneficial in anti-aging and esthetics. Carbon dioxide is a natural constituent of our own bodies and is a non-embolic gas making it extremely safe. Its’ proponents say it assists in destroying localized fatty deposits, improves skin elasticity, circulation, encourages collagen repair, improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, helps in hair growth.

The didactic presentation will include a historical perspective and various uses currently being offered with CarboxyTherapy (Carbon Dioxide Therapy). The presentation will include mechanism of action, contraindications, precautions, patient selection, and protocols. We will discuss indications for application of Carboxy Therapy (i.e., skin tightening, skin rejuvenation, fat and cellulite reduction, stretch marks, hypertrophic scars, and more).

A live demonstration will be performed explaining procedure and techniques to bolster your knowledge and ultimately prepare you for the hands-on practice sessions.
