PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This comprehensive one-day hands-on training workshop explores the applications of Botulinum Toxin A for cosmetic purposes with a focus on the most popular areas requested for treatment. Presentation will include an introduction to history and new developments on the horizon of Botulinum Toxin A as well as a brief analysis of Botulinum Toxin B. Significant focus on pertinent facial anatomy and physiology will be presented (the cornerstone to safe and effective treatment). Presentation will include mechanism of action, safety and efficacy issues, management and treatment of complications, dilution guidelines, and comprehensive information on proper injection techniques and placement, for desired outcome. Our intense hands-on session will include identifying and mapping areas for injection and actually doing the injections.
Our ratio of instructor to student for this class is 6 students to 1 instructor (with only 3 injectors working at a time). During the course you will gain valuable insight and pearls on the “how to” of this unique business model for optimal success. We will discuss price structuring, market trends, and retention of your client base. Attendees will receive a course manual and a CD loaded with the necessary supporting forms and templates such as history, consent, policy/procedure, and much more. A certificate showing certification of hands-on training will be provided upon completion of the course (mailed within 2 weeks).
Students attending The Art and Science of Botulinum Toxin A workshop,
The Esthetic Skin Institute would like your assistance in complying with our policy as it relates to guests and models. We kindly ask that you do not bring any guests or models into the workshop, that includes the didactic and hands-on portion. The hands on portion of this class will be practiced between you and the other workshop attendees unless for some reason you are unable to receive the injections yourself. In this case there must be prior approval from ESI management. It is the decision of the management that this is the best and most suitable arrangement for this class setting; furthermore we feel that it is important when working with a medium such as this that you have a first-hand experience with the injections.
The material that you are provided in class is real Botox or Dysport, and if for some reason you cannot or do not wish to receive it you will be injected with a saline solution. Please let the ESI Staff know of any special arrangements that must be made on behalf of this workshop.
